Austin, TX – March 14, 2026 – Regional Mexican group Línea Personal delivered a standout performance last night at the Rolling Stone SXSW Future of Music showcase at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. Making their SXSW debut, the Stockton, California group opened the stage for Fuerza Regida, sharing the lineup with some of the most talked-about names in the genre including Chino Pacas, Clave Especial, and Chuyin.
The performance was part of Rolling Stone’s Future of Music 2026, a recognition that highlights emerging artists shaping the next wave of global music. Línea Personal was selected as part of this year’s class, placing them among a new generation of artists gaining strong industry attention. The band is also featured in Rolling Stone’s latest print issue, where the magazine highlights the artists it believes are defining what comes next. As the publication notes, the list shines a spotlight on acts that are “pushing their sound forward while connecting with a new generation of listeners.”
Formed in Stockton, California, Línea Personal has been steadily building momentum with a style that blends regional Mexican roots with contemporary influences and emotionally driven storytelling. Led by vocalist Gustavo Raya with Aidan Raya on second vocals, the group has developed a sound that feels both grounded in tradition and aligned with the modern evolution of the genre.
Their rise has been fueled by a growing catalog of releases and strong digital traction. Songs like “Salió Cabrón” introduced the group to a wider audience after surpassing one million streams, followed by standout tracks such as “HOLANDA,” which has gone on to accumulate more than 80 million streams on Spotify. The industry has also begun to take notice. Last year, Línea Personal was nominated at Premios Juventud in the category “La Nueva Generación – Música Mexicana,” further signaling the group’s growing presence within the new wave of regional Mexican artists.
Just weeks ago, Línea Personal released their latest single “Balazos,” a track that highlights the group’s raw storytelling and signature blend of regional instrumentation with modern production. The song continues to expand the band’s reach while setting the tone for what comes next.
The group is now preparing for the release of their upcoming album TODO Ø NADA, set to arrive on March 26. The project will feature major collaborations and marks the next chapter in Línea Personal’s evolving sound and artistic vision.
Following their SXSW appearance, Línea Personal continues their run of live performances with a show tonight in Dallas, Texas, keeping the momentum going as they bring their music to audiences across the country.
With growing industry recognition, a rapidly expanding audience, and new music on the horizon, Línea Personal’s SXSW debut marks another important step in their ascent within the regional Mexican music scene.
