Miami, FL, August 13, 2026. Edgardo Nunéz releases RENACER, his debut studio album and first conceptual project. 14 tracks that map, with disarming honesty, the journey of a man who learned to turn every setback into a starting point and who today delivers the most mature and cohesive work of his career.

Produced by Edgardo Nunéz alongside Pablo Santillán and Raúl Rubio, RENACER opens with its title single, written alongside Victor Edgardo Manzanarez and Ulises Erubiel Valenzuela, establishing the album's intention from the very first note: an artist who did not arrive at the top, but reinvented himself to reach it.

Across its 14 tracks, the album moves effortlessly between the power of banda, the intimacy of norteño, and the depth of música mexicana in its broadest sense. Tracks like “Rey León” and “Sin Miedo” carry the confidence of someone who knows exactly who he is, while “Mija” and “Fue Tan Mágico” reveal a vulnerability rarely heard with such candor in the genre. “Bendecido” and “La Güera,” already known to his audience, find their definitive place here: they are not standalone singles, they are pieces of a larger story. And “Hombre Fino,” alongside Kane Rodriguez, closes the album with the ease of someone who no longer needs to explain what he already is.

With RENACER, Nunéz also proves that the corrido can be a vehicle for personal growth. Far from the violence and aggression that dominate part of today's conversation around the genre, this album uses the corrido for what it always was at its core: the story of a man who fought, fell, and got back up.

The idea that guided the entire creative process is as simple as it is powerful: “I am not the same person who started.” RENACER celebrates that distance. Between the man who had nothing and the artist who today fills stages from Mexico to the United States. Between the one who doubted and the one who now believes. Every song is a coordinate on that journey.

True to the authenticity that defined hits like “Billete Grande” and “Loco Enamorado,” Nunéz does not change his voice to sound different. He sharpens it to sound more like himself. With more than 140 million video streams and collaborations with Junior H, Peso Pluma, Oscar Ortiz and Xavi, Nunéz arrives at RENACER with the backing of a fan base that keeps growing on both sides of the border and the conviction of someone who knows exactly what it cost to get here.

RENACER is now available on all digital music platforms.
