The Colombian artist will compete in the New Generation - Male Artist and Afrobeat of the Year categories at the 2026 Premios Juventud, whose ceremony will be held for the first time in Marbella, Spain

MIAMI, FL. (July 28, 2026). As he continues touring European stages, Juan Duque receives his first nominations to the 2026 Premios Juventud, where he will compete in the New Generation - Male Artist and Afrobeat of the Year categories. The recognition comes after a year that expanded his international reach and brought his music to new audiences both inside and outside Colombia.

In recent months, Juan Duque's music found an unexpected platform on the world's biggest sporting stage. “Así De Rico (Va Uno A Ver Y Ve Remizzz),” alongside Emyl Rusev and Juliana, became part of the Colombian fanbase's celebration during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The track fueled more than 200,000 user-created videos on TikTok and Instagram, entered Spotify Colombia's Top 20, and followed the Colombian national team from the banderazos to the FIFA Fan Festival in Miami, where the artist also performed live.

The nomination coincides with a European tour that has brought Juan Duque in front of new audiences in cities across Spain. Each show has widened the reach of a catalog that began gaining visibility outside Colombia and now resonates on international stages, reinforcing the moment of growth the artist is going through. In August he will kick off his first-ever tour of the United States, a step that will carry forward a year of growth and new opportunities for his career.

As his name appears for the first time among the Premios Juventud nominees, Juan Duque keeps his focus on what's next. In the coming days he will unveil a new single, opening a new stage for a career in full expansion and a recognition that reflects the road traveled over the past year.

Voting for Premios Juventud is now open and will be available until August 10 through premiosjuventud.com.
