Chyno y Nacho have earned a Best Tropical Album nomination at the 2026 Premios Juventud for Radio Venezuela, their first album together in four years and one of the most celebrated releases of the year. The recognition comes just weeks after Billboard named the project among The 50 Best Albums of 2026 (So Far) and on its list of The 26 Best Latin Albums of 2026 (So Far), cementing Radio Venezuela as one of Latin music's most significant comebacks this year.

The critical response has been unanimous. Billboard called the album a “joyful miracle” that brings together a new generation of Venezuelan talent around the real brotherhood at the duo's core, and in its Latin music coverage described it as a tropical journey filled with love and nostalgia. For Chyno y Nacho, Radio Venezuela isn't just an album: it's a love letter to their homeland, written in many voices.

The record brings together a full generation of Venezuelan talent on tracks like “Entrégame,” “Corales,” “D’Lejitos,” “Dónde Estás” and “Maiquetía,” featuring Danny Ocean, Rawayana, 3AM, Noreh and Luis Silva, Akapellah, Mau y Ricky, Nella Rojas, Micro TDH, Caibo alongside Huáscar Barradas and Rafael “El Pollo” Brito, Elena Rose, Neutro Shorty, Lasso, Joaquina, 2Merengada and Neomai. The album also weaves in the voices of two icons of Venezuelan radio, Luis Chataing and the late Renny Ottolina, in interludes that serve as generational bridges throughout the project. Fifty-eight professionals worked on the album, a number the duo chose deliberately as a nod to Venezuela's country calling code.

The nomination arrives at the 23rd edition of Premios Juventud, which will make history this year by taking place outside the Americas for the first time, on September 3 at the Starlite Amphitheater in Marbella, Spain. For Chyno y Nacho, Latin GRAMMY winners for Best Urban Music Album and the artists behind hits like “Mi Niña Bonita,” and “Me Estoy Enamorando,” the recognition confirms that, more than two decades into their careers, they are still setting the pace for Latin tropical music.
