EDGARDO NUÑEZ ARRIVES AT THE 2026 PREMIOS JUVENTUD FOR A NIGHT THAT MARKS A NEW MOMENT IN HIS CAREER

MARBELLA, SPAIN. September 4, 2026. Edgardo Nuñez took the stage at the Starlite Amphitheater in Marbella last night, during the 23rd edition of Premios Juventud and the first in the show’s history to take place outside the Americas, to present one of the night’s performances, that of Ángela Aguilar.
The detail isn’t minor. Nuñez arrived in Marbella with two nominations of his own, Best Mexican Music Fusion and New Generation - Mexican Music, just three weeks after releasing RENACER, his first studio album. It’s 14 songs he produced alongside Pablo Santillán and Raúl Rubio, arriving after two live albums that kept him on stages for years before he sat down, for the first time, to build a project of his own from scratch.
Going from being nominated to presenting one of the night’s biggest names says a lot about Nuñez’s year, one in which he has shared billing, and now a ceremony, with names that were his own influences just twelve months ago.
Between his role as a presenter, two nominations of his own and a debut album that’s just starting to make noise, Edgardo Nuñez ended the night as one of the voices defining the present of música mexicana
